IFS to SAP Migration
I am currently working for my company's internal IT Deployment Team and management decided to migrate data from IFS to SAP. I am not having any idea on IFS system. what it deals with and its functionality. from my project team i came to know it is financial system carrying FI data and due to migration to SAP they decided to do migration. Kindly let me know how the migration to be handled. I mean what are all the steps. what master data and transactional data to be migrated from legacy IFS to SAP.is it done through any interface I mean do i need to approach ABAP and BASIS consultants for doing the interface setup. Please guide me.
Also let me know what kind of system is IFS i mean is it .net or java or what kind of software platform. So that it is very useful to me.
