Bex Analyzer Report: Values doesn't get displayed while filtering for Variable Ranges, but works for Single Value Variable

Dear All,

In a Bex Analyzer report, when I execute the report with Single Value for Fiscal year/period Variable, it works fine.

But whenever I try to filter it through the filter pane inside, it doesn't work and the report displays blank values.

Also whenever I try to put up Value Ranges as shown below in the screenshot, it doesn't work.

Please help to sort out this problem.
