Need some insights on the process.
I have a BOM for a Material which is assembly material and the component materials of this BOM have BOMs of their own. So, how do I do the Standard Cost estimates for these.
My understanding is that we need to cost the lower level materials then we need to cost the higher level material and finally we need to cost the main material.
Now doesn't the system take care of this? we do only the CK11N. So how to proceed. Because when CK11N was done for the highest material system gave a warning for all the lower level materials saying - " Material XXXXXX in plant 1000 contains marked cost estimate" It did not mark or release the cost for these materials.
How to proceed with this ? Please clear my doubts.
